Back to Naples for another cool weekend and more football. I need no more football for quite awhile - but mostly great games to watch. Did get the morning walk in but it was very, very cool both mornings for Florida - 40s.
Also, got back up to Cape Coral to share notes about what's going on in Minnesota while we are all down here - ice and ICE.
Not just Dawit and Danny but the whole gang enjoying an evening together.
Finally, had a cool day. Was interesting how once the wind came in from the north the temperature dropped so quickly. One cool day and then warm up was right back in. And today it is 80F and super humid - as thick as it has been on this trip so far.
And lots more action as Indiana has arrived for the national football championship and are all over the streets of Fort Lauderdale.
Same lovely weather on the west side of Florida. As usual the bird was on its post in the back yard and we watched lots of playoff football. And the warm sunny days are still here.
It all came together with my yearly holiday note. I try to at least connect up with my Mac Guys once a year - usually during the Christmas/New Years time frame.
Dawit has moved to Dubai and Danny and his family were on their way to Dubai for a holiday so the plot set - the connection got made and a reunion was had. Dawit was number 3 and Danny number 4 so we all spent lots of time together back in that era.
It has been super weather so far - 80F everyday. And mostly sunny days. No excuse for not getting out and enjoying each day.
Left the cold and snow for a month in Florida. Who would have thought that would happen. Have a neighborhood I like and so far have still been moving to a new spot year to year. First time with great views of the area.
Some flu, lots of weather and as the night settled out we had a boys night for NYE this year - Russ, Eric and Greg. Moved on from dinner to just a happy hour and it worked great with the wild icy streets we all had to deal with this year.
