Twin Cities MN - The Italians check out the Twin Cities

Spent some time exploring the Twin Cities with the Italian In-Laws before they headed up to Duluth/Two Harbors for the next part of their adventure.
Cold but brilliantly sunny day - as it usually is when it gets that cold.  We hung around 0 most of the day before the windchill hit us.

Saint Paul MN - Christmas 2017

Biting cold but a full house to warm everything up.  We had 26 this year for Christmas Day - a great mix of family and friends.
Anna and Dan vied for the champion of the "new game" - Dan came out on top.
And Niketh slept through it all upstairs......

Stillwater MN - Christmas Eve 2017

A bigger than usual crowd this year - we had the new Italian In-Laws join us for Christmas.
Niketh joined us as well for the cold Christmas weekend.
And we will all be celebrating again New Year's Eve with the Minnesota Wedding in Northern Minnesota.
The cold came in just in time for their arrival - and is staying until they depart back to Italy it appears at this point.

Minneapolis MN - Hanging out with Cousin Tim

Tim joined the Jamf Team this year - son of my cousin Ellen.
We were enjoying an evening out together during the Jamf Conference in October.

Saint Paul MN - Finals break for dinner

Three more days and the first term is in the books.
Took a break and had some dinner and laughs before heading back to the books and heading off for the break.

Minneapolis MN - Skyways full of music and song

I walk the skyways over lunch most days.  This week I was 5 for 5 days.  And over the last couple weeks there have been consistent spots with music groups every day and other spots that just seem to randomly have single or large groups of performers.
Has certainly added some additional life and vibrancy to the skyway network over the holidays - since it seems that holiday decorating is much more muted than in the past.

University Club is always a great spot so even better for a party - Roger's retirement. 

Toronto ON Canada - A little less winter here

A long weekend opened up and I took advantage of it and hung with some friends and wandered around Toronto.
A bit warmer than Minnesota but gusty winds that let you know winter is definitely not far away.
Always lots of great street art and plenty of fun Christmas stuff going on.
And got back in time for a Sunday walk in Saint Paul with some wind gusts to keep us moving as fast as we could.
