Saint Paul - Klaudas everywhere

Camera in the shop at Best Buy - yes, they are standing behind their product and making it right. That alone is worthy of a blog item I suppose.
Chris, the stray cat, brought her daughter back to Minnesota for fresh air no doubt. Or at least less hot air - both figuratively and literally the case in Washington DC.
I got invited to join the Klauda celebration on a perfect Sunday afternoon. There is almost a Klauda for every Cashman. Mike and Ann were putting on that so called "happy face" for not having a connection.
Borrowing a couple of Ann's photos to document the day.
I have seen more than once these pics of the Klauda women showing off something....still trying to decide if it is the toenail color, the shoes, toes or ankles. But they are really in to it! Must be a Hungarian thing.
Camera back soon....

Philadelphia - camera problems again

I give my camera a work out....but in only a matter of months I seemed to have mucked up another one. This time I my shutter won't open all the way. With some manual help I was able to get a view that just left some blur along the edges...bear with me and hopefully will be back in full form over the weekend.
Philadelphia does a wonderful job of getting artists to paint big blank walls. It adds such a warmth as you wander around all the history that is Philly.

New York City - always something new

Imagine thunder rumbling and then echoing down the streets of Manhattan. At 2am I was sure that the entire city was blowing up! Don't ever recall being here when very wild thunderstorms rolled through the city.
A Bangladesh taxi driver isn't something new. But when he sings, has his CDs ready to play and offers a great hotel room next time I get to Bangladesh that added some new dimension to a rainy ride to LaGuardia Airport.
A grey gloomy week here. Lots of rain, fog and stickiness. But always a great place to visit. And always airport delays when it it time to go home...

Saint Paul - River Rats

The rain has finally come. Unfortunately we needed to get another 11 miles on our morning ride to avoid it. We had one of our quicker finishes and couldn't get to the coffee fast enough. Cold, wet and covered in mud we didn't do anything to enhance the image of the neighborhood Dunn Brothers.
