Another 50+ record setting day. Winter is getting close - it was miserable about 2.5 hours west of here.
Betty and Byron were on the edge but got out and we had many of the usual suspects plus our Spanish crew. Lots of noise, conversation and competition filled the day.
So it is 50F and rainy on Christmas Eve in Minnesota. I think we can all say we have no memory of that ever happening - hit new record highs. Often the weather keeps things from happening - not this year.
We had guests from Spain joining us this year - lucky us.
Seems like after so many years, it felt like a more "normal" Christmas - or at least our version of "normal". Our first Christmas with a flute playing Christmas tunes with a cheerleader - but still normal. And even Niketh was able to join the evening.
Christmas Weekend in Clarkfield so that means we get a short visit from Kindra and Jessie on either end. Finished off the visit with a trip downtown and taking the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. Not a bad December night to take it all in - plus the Euro Market and Glow in full force as well.
Great to see lots of people out and about in Saint Paul - and enjoying the holiday activities.
Had the chance today to see a bit a a huge piece of property along the Saint Croix River on the Wisconsin side - wow.
So much history and so much other new and equally as interesting space all over the property. A few quick moments on my journey today.
