Tokyo Japan - 45 and Sunny

Cool and clear days - getting up in the 45 - 50F range.  Great weather for walking when I can to a week full of meetings.

Saint Paul MN - 2 days in to Term 2

Mac is back in action.  Two days in and we all gathered for dinner to hear about the break and the start of the term.
Some Sri Lanka Curry to warm us up and getting the conversation started.

New York NY - great weekend to be around

Both Friday and Saturday were hanging around 50F - what could be better than that in mid-January.  Good break to wander around a city of towers again - a nice break.

New York City - Back again...

For 7 years I came to New York City this same weekend for a trade show that started up early the next week.  And often stayed at the same hotel.
Never know if it will be cold or comfortable - I got comfortable this trip with the outlook for today at 50F.
I am here for different reasons but interesting to see them setting things up in the hotel for the trade show that starts on the weekend.

Minneapolis MN - Sub-Zero Week...cold one for all our visiting friends

We bring the our team in each year for a yearly kick off.  And mother nature almost always makes sure it is one of the most miserable weeks of the winter.   This year was no different.
But the palm tree stage kept the inside warm despite the minus F outside.   Another great event at the Guthrie.

Two Harbors MN - Dawit goes cross country skiing

Instead of hanging in the city,  Dawit and Scott headed north for a huge bonfire NYE Party and his first cross country ski opportunity on New Year's Day.
Not sure if he was up or on the ground more.

Saint Paul MN - Go home when you are tired version 2015

Full table this year - which included several new faces.
As always, everyone came for a fun night out - and plans to get home before the bells were ringing.
