Atlanta GA - a room with a view?

Atlanta has to be one of the most lush green spaces in the world outside of the rain forests. I was staying in the northwest area - best view from this trip were some amazing teak carved bells that hung in the open lobby.
Need to improve on my Atlanta pics when I get another trip.....

Saint Paul MN - Showing off the Twin Cities

The sun came out and the Twin Cities finally got to shine a bit and I took full advantage to show it off before Mom, Grandpa and Danny took off for an East and West Coast tour of the US - no doubt the rest of the US will have to live up to the wonders of Minnesota!
We had a great day, hit the spots we could and finished it off with a wonderful Chinese dinner on University Avenue - I had a bit of a detour before dinner to celebrate Scott's graduation from William Mitchell Law.

Saint Paul Mn - Danny Qu's Mom and Grandfather come to celebrate

Liping, Danny's Mom, and her father arrived to enjoy a bit of Minnesota and to celebrate Danny's graduation.
Danny's Dad was going to join us as well but a golfing accident earlier in the week left him with a swollen leg - and missing out on all of Danny's Minnesota family and friends.
All the greatness of Botswana, China and Minnesota came together for some great conversation and shared experiences in life. If nothing else we all learned that boys will be boys no matter where they come, grow and live in the world..........
A great pleasure to help Liping experiene a bit of Minnesota and some of the people that Danny has shared his life with over the last 4 years.
And let's not forget...the DQ graduated!

Saint Paul MN - Danny Qu graduates and Petar represents Serbia very well!

Danny Qu finishes up.
As the president of Macalester can be quoted, this is the worst weather day in the history of graduation at Macalester College. It was 45F, raining, windy and it felt like snow would be arriving any minute. But the show must go on.
Petar joined the graduation ceremonies as well as the flag bearer for Serbia.

A bit of drama the day before, but Danny looked the part of the perfect young graduate on Saturday afternoon.
