It wasn't a sunny day here, but it was warm and Mac was getting ready to start the second term of the year - and many students were just arriving on campus for the first time......stayed home for the first term.
So winter volleyball made sense between inaugural events and the next masked party.
Meanwhile, as Niketh went to sleep Alex, Cheikh and I headed to Big Carnellian for some winter fun.
Ged once again promised fish, but no. Fortunately, some other good fun zooming around the lake on the ATV.
And we finished off the day with a great dinner and chocolate chip cheescake!
Picked up Niketh at the airport today - back for Term 2 of this Mac year.
No worse for wear after a long, long flight and then a nice snow storm to delay him in Chicago before finally getting back to MSP.
A quiet start to 2021 for sure - more of the same from 2020 actually. Fortunately, the weather has been very mild for January so we have kept up the walking miles day to day.
Been nice to take a break and hang out and enjoy some different conversation, a beer and a nice smokey fire. Definitely need to keep the fire clothes in a separate spot when I get home.
