It's November so time to celebrate Joe and Margie.

New York NY - Morning after and the running starts

 

All quiet after crowds out everywhere the night before.  And some of the lesser runs are happening so lots of streets are blocked and cars aren't moving.  Great way to take in Manhattan! 

New York NY - Halloween NYC style

 

When you wander NYC it is hard to know who is in a costume and who isn't.  Much nicer day but big winds.  The news was talking about the Halloween Parade in The Village and decided to head that direction and take it in.  Wow, everyone and then more decided the same thing.  Subway stops were closed, it took almost 30 minutes for us to get out of the subway station due to the streets so full of people.  After wander further and further towards the end of the parade, I finally found an open subway station and got out of there.  No parade for me.   

Earlier in the day I did wander through the reopened Waldorf Astoria Hotel - beautiful spot.   

New York NY - Back to NYC

 

No flight issues but a rainy, foggy night as I arrived in to Manhattan.  The eve of Halloween and the NYC Marathon - expect an interesting weekend.
