Newark NJ - Time to go

 

10AM on my way to the airport and it is already 90 feeling like 96.  Time to go.  One sweaty walk to the train station.  Some uglier days than I had over the next few days.  Better back in MN.  

Stamford CT - Eddie celebrates his graduation

 

Headed up to CT after a rainy, humid morning in the City.  The start of several super hot and humid days ahead - this was the coolest and maybe the least humid one.....and it was ugly out there today.

Great party and celebration none-the-less.   Party two for me with the DeMarkeys this year.  

Definitely tired on the train ride back to the City after a day outside in the heat and humidity.   

New York NY - And a diversion to Harrison NY as well

 

Another great wander and another great day.  A bit more heat and a bit more humidity - building up to the next several days of ugly.  But Saturday wasn't too bad.  

Most cities I go to the central zone is not back to what it was before Covid.  NYC seems to have gotten back fully in stride - great to see.  Hope for the rest.  The city seemed to be full of locals and visitors where ever I wandered.   

Also got to hop the train up to Harrison NY to hang with an old HK mate and catch up - probably a 10 year break since our paths have crossed.   

New York NY - Great summer day

The storm took out the worst of the humidity - more "normal" east coast humidity.  So a great summer day for NYC.  

Full day.  Great morning walk.  Lunch with Long and beers with Neil before he caught the ferry.  Finished off hanging out with some other visitors at the hotel before calling it an evening.
