We packed everyone up and headed just over the border to the Madikwe Game Reserve and to Impodimo Lodge settled in the middle of the park. No fences so the local wildlife just hung out or wandered on through.
Beautiful place with lots of personality and great setting as we set out for an evening and then early morning game rides.
It was an overnight trip but, as Mia said, felt like so much longer.
