Aussie Rules football is a game developed in Melbourne and is the primary sport in that part of Australia.
The Swans are the Sydney Team.
I have seen matches on the telly over the years and had a general understanding but never quite got it.
It was a great live experience. It cleared up some assumptions I had about the game that all became clear when I saw the pitch - I didn't know that they played on a round field instead of rectangular.
