Have wanted to get to Macao since my first visit to Hong Kong in the 90s.
Got up Sunday morning and decided it was a great day to go. It is about an hour ferry ride from HK - another Island that Portugal inhabited for a long, long time.
Best know as the Las Vegas of Asia, it does have a great European influence and history. And if you get in to the heart of the city there is still many buildings and neighborhoods that feel like Portugal - and the small stone sidewalks still show up on many streets.
It was plenty hot and humid and I was a sweaty mess on the ride back home to HK.
