Ghosts, wine and Nuns or The Big Buddha and monks - pick your weekend. Gaelic Grove and Lantau Island

So Saturday morning arrives in Hong Kong and the phone rings and rings and rings.  It started out loud, got louder - no surprises there.  We had a few connection issues but then they did the American thing and  just talked loud and slow - either the ghost was active or they were in to the wine.  Will leave that for wise readers to determine for themselves....
Lots of fun going on at Gaelic Grove on the edge of Rochester - which always leads to the important question....how many bottles of wine do you need to drink with nuns?  And now for this weekend ghosts are present as well it is rumored.....or just a reason to drink more?

I headed out to Lantau Island and took in the Big Buddha and and Po Lin Monastery. A lovely spot nestled on the far side of the mountain. I took the cable car ride.....next time the ferry and the bus.  Great view but a typical HK queue of an hour to just get on the cable car to go for the thirty minute ride.  A cool and grey day - one more, but much cooler than it has been.

No ghost that I saw in Lantau - no doubt there were more and more in Gaelic Grove as the weekend went  on!!!
