Beijing China - it was only about the smog this trip
There is always the smog. I do remember a few rare days in my visits over the last couple years where you could actually see the mountains - but certainly not this trip.
I arrived with a bit of a cold and I became a coughing mess until we were back in the air and on our way to HK.
The smog level was hanging in the dangerous range - but not as bad as it was weeks earlier. It looked like fog but the skies were grey and the visibility was minimal. And it was thick.
We all got through but enjoyed the blue skies of Hong Kong on Friday morning. It has been grey and foggy here the last month - I would guess a smaller level of all of the heavy stuff that has been hanging over most of China at amazing high levels over the last couple months.
