A perfect summer Saturday, lunch at the Starlight Diner, the start of the summer Olympics and war with Georgia - what more could you ask for a weekend! It was an appropriate day to walk by the 1980 Olympic Stadium - the one the US boycotted. I am working on getting a swimming pass for there. I need to get some document from a doctor to be able to swim - always something. Last winter I walked by the stadium every day on the way to the office. I approach the office from another direction with the new apartment.
It is great to see the sun and some heat again. We had some mornings in the lower 40's this week - way too early for that.
