Prague, Czech Republic - Getting started
First full day hitting the streets of Prague. There is lots of history on both sides of the Danube. I decided to hop on a tram and head to the other side and start with the Castle Complex - for lack of a better description. And then go from there.
The first thing that hit me as I moved around was how "intact" the old parts of Prague remains. You appreciate that they were not bombed like many other cities during the wars.
And they certainly have more than their share of castles and churches - almost butting up to each other over and over again.
Other than my first night in Milan when we had dinner on the river I have not experienced big crowds of tourists until today - wow. The Castle Complex and the Charles Bridge Area is a mob and moves as fast as the slowest one ahead of you.
