Hong Kong - A Chinese History Wander in Fanling

July 1 is a holiday in Hong Kong - the celebration of Margaret Thatcher handing over HK to the Chinese.  A day of celebrating or protesting depending on your politics in HK.
I took the metro for about an hour out near the Chinese border and spent some time roaming around a Taoist Temple and then wandering on the Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail.
Great day and it is always great to get out and see the depth and beauty of the hills and mountains in Hong Kong and on the border of China.  It is a very green and lush place on the map.
