Singapore has done lots of work at reclaiming land from the sea. It just adds and adds space to the island it is.
One fairly new addition is the Garden on the Bay - had to wander a bit to figure how to get in but once I got there it is quite the place.
Lovely lush gardens everywhere - lots of places to walk and wander around pools or the harbour.
And then there is the Flower Garden and the Cloud Garden - think of the Science Museum in Saint Paul, maybe bigger, as one open structure with a rising conservatory and a living rain forest. Amazing spaces both of them.
