Downtown Dallas is always interesting. It is full of big, new and beautiful buildings but you see very few people on the streets. They have an underground walkway system that protects people from the heat, and there is plenty of that this week, but still it seems like there should be more. It is much the same in many other cities including my own.

I always enjoy the mix of interesting old Dallas structures surviving between the new and the flashy skyscrapers.
And since I am one of the few wandering outside in the sweltering heat it feels like I have it all to myself.
