Zurich Switzerland - boating, biking, mountains and lots of fresh air

It doesn't take long to appreciate why Zurich gets selected as one of the most livable cities - but not the cheapest! We were staying in a wonderful spot nestled near the top of the foothill mountains of the Alps. The walk behind the hotel took you into a maze of trails in the forrest. They are great outdoors people and bike up and down the terrain as if it is flat land.
I also had to kids zoom on down past the hotel on rollerblades and a skateboard - not sure how they were doing it or if they just kept going until the fell into the water!
So many spots to wander and enjoy - and eat, drink and chat with the Swiss and other visitors.
We had an evening Salsa cruise on the lake that everything is built around. Couldn't have been a nicer evening. And it cools down nicely when it is time to sleep.
