Hop on the train in the AM and arrive in Montreal early afternoon. First time I did it in a big snowstorm. This time it was a warm, humid rainy day - and 66F.
The grey followed me all the way to Montreal. It blew out overnight and the temp dropped every hour until we were in snow flurry weather 24 hours later.
And always fun to have a room with a view.
It was grey and sometimes rainy but still 65F in late October. Always nice to get back to Toronto and enjoy the city. The warmest part of the whole trip was first thing Friday morning - the calm before the sky cleared and the wind from the north arrived.
Like most of the US it seems like every street you turn on you run in to another bit of construction or road work - good sign for lots of cities.
We got a warm start for October so headed out for a late season bike ride - but got caught in the wind and definitely got our exercise.
And still more leaves on the trees than off - late fall continues this year.
And the "Monty Monsters" came in to town for the weekend to finish it all off - they had a full day of cub scouting before the evening with us.
After a couple days of rain a lovely Minnesota October day ahead. Off for a walk with the gang - too cool for a bike ride.
We got the perfect October afternoon to be out repackaging and distributing fresh food with the work team at one of the local spots. And today the grey, wind, cool down and the rain arrived - good timing.
Opportunity arose to hang a bit in Fort Lauderdale Area and said yes.
90 and super humid but as I left home it was 42 so almost like leaving for winter.....
Definitely a full day today. We were off early in the rain and we came home much later in the downpour - nonstop all the way home.
Great day. We had thought it was going to be hot and sunny but ended up grey and cooler. Went off in a new direction this year and found plenty of things to take in and spend out money on.
