Stillwater MN - A day on the Saint Croix

 

Hot and sunny the makings for a perfect day to hang out on the Saint Croix River.  

Long time friends, new boat for them and perfect weather made for a great, great day. 

Saint Paul MN - Picture perfect day and evening

 

Some gusty wind but otherwise a perfect June day and evening.  Got a bike ride in, walk and finished it off with some time downtown taking in the weekly neighborhood music in the park.  

Stamford CT - Party time for Tommy

 

Tommy kept letting us know that it would not rain during the party.  The forecasters were saying otherwise.  Tommy was mostly right - a bit of misting from time to time but otherwise mostly a grey and a bit humid afternoon.  

Another great celebration in CT and always fun to reconnect with people I have know for many years - some more than 20 and others that have grown up along the way.  

Stamford CT - Pre-celebration night on the deck

Mostly a grey day but warm enough to enjoy the evening outside as well.  Got up to CT for the graduation party on Sunday.  

New York NY - Wander in to Soho and lunch with Long

 

Took the AM to wander south with Soho as the lunchtime landing.  A lot more new has been blended in to the old and kind of industrial that lives in that part of Manhattan.  And always great fun to get together with my friend Long and laugh, get caught up and recall some good times together in Minnesota.  

New York NY - Great summer day in the city

 

Warm, sunny and not all that humid - not a typical NYC day for sure.  Took full advantage and wandered off in new directions.  Never lacking new directions here.
