Last year a show was brought in that was displayed on the front of the Saint Paul Cathedral. A new show for this year was equally as fun to take in.
This year a more "walker friendly" event. Cold evening for sure but worth the walk and view. A good warm up with friends before we wandered to the show.
It has sure been one unique fall and start to winter this year. And we finally got a real snowstorm. It seems like over the last few years they threaten a major storm and it doesn't show or live up to the hype. This one exceeded all expectations leaving 12 inches around me and 20 inches not too far down the road.
Headed out to our local Sri Lankan restaurant to celebrate Niketh's graduation with the "team". Ordered a great selection of dishes...and more to go home for the next couple days to get through finals.
Sounds like a bit of snow tonight - and a cool down going in to next week. Finally, maybe a bit of winter.
In for work, but Gerard still had time to hang out for a catch up before the trip back home. He got a great weather week - and Covid has kept us all apart way too long.
My first December Graduation at Mac - still some work to be done to get the diploma but the ceremony was wonderful. Had both Niketh and his buddy Mohamed participating in the event.
Great to connect up again with the Mac International team and other familiar faces from pre-Covid.
More celebrating tomorrow....as the studies continue.
A bit like our early morning walks in MN. But, from the East it is mostly flat and sunny earlier and with a lot more light.
Always fun to walk in Vegas in the early AM. Lots of interesting people moving around - those that are still on yesterday, those that are rising from a warm spot on the street and moving to their day spot, those getting their run in before the convention events and those off to a breakfast meeting before the convention events of the day. And then then regular Vegas folks just on their way to support all of us visiting and expecting the Vegas experience 24 hours a day.......
Everyone keeps telling me it is so much warmer than it should be - same store we have back in Minnesota. But it is still true, Christmas is coming no matter what. Every day there is more and more Christmas decor showing up.
Wandered down to the South end, not a spot I have spent much time, and the new home of the NFL Raiders team. And it is all about the Raiders at that end.
Another high 70s day so I wanted to spend as much time as I could out enjoying the great day.
