Sydney NSW Australia - night lights

Back in Sydney for a couple more days before heading home - another room with a view.
Another rainy, cool day - but plenty of action throughout the central city.
Hit the "noodle festival" on the route to rendezvous with friends - lots of mud and muck to navigate.

Another great sunny day - expect it will warm up nicely once again.

Melbourne VIC Australia - a short diversion further south

Like Sydney, Melbourne is just booming.  Construction and activity everywhere.  Also a city with lots of history that they blend with new and creative new structures.
The focus here is the Yarra River that runs through the center - and where all the action focuses and moves out from there.
Enjoyed a great evening along the Yarra and the best weather of the trip so far.  Even a bit of Wallaby on the menu tonight.

What a ugly windy day.
A plan to hang at the Skiff Sailing Club on the patio and enjoy the day became a nasty windy, rainy mess all day.  One of those umbrella destroyer windy days.
Still gathered and enjoyed the day inside, with everyone else - not much else to do.
Never a shortage of good wine and beer to warm things up.
Always an enjoyable ferry ride - rain or no rain.  Finished the trip with a great chat with a couple up for a short holiday from Melbourne - warmer at home so they were ready to head back.
