Saint Paul MN - NIcket the new guy
Nicket from Sri Lanka has joined the Mac Team.
This weekend was the official meeting event. However, I got to meet up with him and his father before he moved in to the campus. And then he was able to join us for Mom's 90th celebration. So by the time we had dinner with the rest of the Team he seemed to be all settled in with Mac and Cashman experiences.
Twin Cities - hot here too
After three days of 100 in Vegas I got home to 90 and humid in Minnesota in mid-September. Amazing. But then we are also expecting that we could be in the 40s by the weekend.
Las Vegas NV - in and out for work
I bet it has been at least 10 years since my last trip to Vegas. And like most places it has only gotten bigger and busier.
It was 101 when I walked off the plane. Wow - plenty warm.

Rochester MN - Big Birthday Weekend - 90th
Despite ongoing clean up in Texas, rubble still being cleared in Mexico, the entire state of Florida getting beat up by a hurricane and unprecedented wildfires throughout the West we still found time to all gather and celebrate Mom's 90th birthday over the weekend.
Lots of "epic" things all happening at the same time.
Great group that used to gather often and now doesn't gather often enough.
And cards and greetings from around the world continue to come in - official birthday today September 11.

Saint Paul MN - Labor Day Weekend BBQ.....the end of summer
The Mac guys are landing over the weekend - Qifan was available, Kristijan got a better offer and still waiting to hear from Nam if he is on the ground.
And some of the regular rascals all gathered for a perfect evening for the beginning of September.

Saint Paul MN - Niketh, the New Mac Guy
Got introduced to Niketh on Saturday via email and we found a short slot of time to connect up on Sunday.
His father was in town to help him move in from Colombo Sri Lanka and so we were able to meet before he heads out from Minnesota.

Kansas City Missouri - Quick in and out
KC was in the path of the eclipse. So lots of action when I arrived - no rental cars to be had. Or the few that were left were pricier than the hotels....that were jacked up as well.
And then there was a Shriners Convention in town as well for the week.
Got a few minutes to wander around the downtown between meetings. And ended up at an old local Italian Restaurant and we all overate.
