New York City - Abby and Lizzy do NYC

Cold and grey day but we ventured off to take on the 9/11 Memorial and whatever else crossed our paths as we wandered the streets of Manhattan.
I think there may be more security protecting to fountains than we have protecting the President...go figure. 
Add in some shopping, snooping around, lunch - and dessert, and lots of walking and it made for a great day. 

Little Silver and Long Branch New Jersey - Hanging out with Lara and Christopher

I came in to JFK and Mom came in to Newark.  A subway ride through Brooklyn and a hop through the Holland Tunnel with Neil got us all together and we were on our way to getting the holiday trip started.
Beautiful November weekend...you can almost head out without a jacket.
Oops....and what was it about forgetting Grandma on the way to lunch.....
