Plymouth MN - Reenie turns 70 OH MY!

Lynn and Dick hosted Reenie's 70th birhtday party. A good time had by all. Reenie held court next to the fireplace. I had dish detail. A great night for all the family and friends - and a good time to all discuss the upcoming Saint Pat's Day activities!

Minneapolis/Saint Paul - warm enough for the walking shoes

Finally a string of days that you can get out and move around without the cold or the wind chasing you back in.
And now with the switch to daylight savings time....there is a whole extra hour in the evening to take to the streets.
A few rambling shots of things along the way from both of the Twin Cities.

Saint Paul - End of the month a good evening to celebrate

The last day of the month. As good a reason as any to gather a few friends and enjoy the evening. After another big dumping of snow and the onset of more below zero F cold, we deserved it.
We had a bit of an African theme going. We kept encouraging Carly to get up on the window seat and show off those Wednesday evening moves she had learned. The best we could do was Margie and Greg donning the napkin rings!

Saint Paul - new camera............getting any better?

We had a great run of warm snow melting days. And finally a nice 4 inch snow to brighten things up.
Killed my camera recently. Nothing specific here. Just a few shots to test out the new equipment.
And the job search goes on..................

Birthday Party - number 54

Since Dan Sandor celebrated his first birthday we have had a party together - if I could keep myself in the country. Dan had the sense, as a teenager, to disappear or not show up for all the action over the years.
This year, he decided it was time to make a full on appearance again.........although just in time for dinner and there was a better offer as soon as the cake was gone!
A great weather weekend and another wonderful celebration.
I don't think it was the crowd but the well traveled camera went terminally bad in mid-party. What can I say, the first picture with me and it broke! Or maybe it was the excessive light from the candles on the cake. Maybe a few more later...............or at least we won't have the most embarassing ones of Carly to show!!!!!!
