Found out late in the day as I was on another wander that there was an architecture tour going on - got the chance to wander in to a couple gems in the middle of the city before the day ended.
And then there were a few other neighborhood gems just sitting near by as I wandered home.
Off to a cool start but will warm up to be a great fall day - lots of sun too it seems.
Got out for the usual morning walk before the wind and a bit of rain came in. Still some nice fall views around the neighborhood.
We may hit 80F today - mid October - WOW.
Made sure to get out for a ride to enjoy the day but beat the winds that were coming in late morning. Still lots of color to be seen as well as the wild turkeys and Halloween flamingos. Who knew!
It seems like everyone in the Twin Cities decided that October 2022 was the month to have an event to celebrate, re-gather people and raise money. I think I have the option for an event every night for most of the month.
Got to get back on a great patio at one event I enjoy tonight and catch it in the evening - still a great view - not sure my pics do it justice.
Way above normal temps and some sun as well. Great day to get out for a ride. Wanted to get another one in before several cold days arrive. Sounds like we may get some more way above normal warm ones next week before more typical weather but today was a great day.....saw some great fall scenery and even a few wild turkeys filled the street. Should have stopped more and got some better shots of the colors.
Year 40 of the Twin Cities Marathon. Started the same year I moved to Saint Paul.
The leaves are turning and the streets were full of people and cars diverted from the running route. Joined a party along Summit and we even had a runner to wait and cheer on this year.
Great party to celebrate the end of the CEZ Mural Season at CanCan. We now have 60 murals completed around the CEZ on the west side of Saint Paul.
