A bit grey today and only 72F. I was spoiled the first few days.
The usual drill and also was able to participate in the weekly work call.
Finished off the day with parents of a great friend - we have only hung out together in Hong Kong, Sydney and now Naples FL.
Headed down to the pier/downtown area today. Another great sunny and warm day. So people were everywhere out enjoying the day.
And we finished off with a Thai dinner outside with friends.
A whole lot easier to get the walk in when it is warm and sunny as you walk out the door.
Despite never ending neighborhoods there is plenty of wildlife around - and some natural spots of terrain as well.
It was a -25F windchill morning in MN. Almost 80F when I arrived in Naples the same evening. And day one was 80 and sunny.
Started the evening with others in from Minnesota as well.
The adventure begins.
We definitely have the snow, cold and wind this year for The Carnival. And plenty of sunshine as well.
We seem to be on a path of cold, colder and then coldest day - and then it seems to start again.
At least when it is well below zero fahrenheit it is a sunny day. Woke up to -32F windchill this AM. Supposedly the coldest day we will see here....we'll see.
The break between terms is almost over so we caught an evening before everyone dives in to the world of 2022.
Lots of stories to share for sure - but time for both the young and old to catch up....we are all staying too far apart as covid rages on.

More super cold days than warm days this week. But kept the walking up. Got out our AARP cards and walked the mall a couple days but it warmed up overnight and we had a great morning to take in Lake Harriet and grab coffee/treats before wandering back on the other end.
They are saying we are back to -30F windchill in the morning so may not be no the streets in the morning.
Lots of cold days and harsh wind chills as can happen late in December. And got the positive confirmation on Monday. So, as expected, hanging out. Fortunately, was already feeling fine by the time the results came in.
