Saint Paul MN - A bit of the fall color

The fall transition seems to be running a whole lot later and longer this year.  And with the ongoing rainy days and cloudy skies, we don't always get to enjoy the brightness of all the trees.
A few attempts to capture - not as great as they were in real life.

Owatonna MN - Lunch day with old, dear friends

Rainy, windy and even a few flurries from time to time but we still made our lunch date in Owatonna with Bev and Stephie.
And finished it off with homemade apple pie and ice cream at Bev's.
Great day in my birthplace.

Saint Paul MN - Dinner with the Mac Team

A good night to gather with the Mac guys to catch up and hear about what's up on campus.  Niketh had a better offer - otherwise, we gathered the crew and a couple extras.
It was a taste testing of many "Sonia" treats - we added jellies to the appetizer list on baguettes and then added pickled beans and veggies with the dinner.

Saint Paul MN - Final day for 2019

Twin Cities Start Up Week ended tonight.
Pop Up Brunch in our lobby this morning and then a big presentation show followed by one more party with more great Mississippi views.

Saint Paul MN - Another night another event

Big event at the Union Depot tonight.
Another group of people with amazing ideas and lots of people ready to hear their stories.
Great to see the renovated Union Depot get used for big, cool events.

Minneapolis MN - Start Up Week continues....

It's Monday so daytime events in Saint Paul and then 2 late afternoon/evening events on the UofM campus.  One in the Alumni Center and then across the street to the Football Stadium "club room".
And who do I run in to but cousin Joe Cashman.  Added to the fun.

Saint Paul MN - Snowy wedding night

Great location right on the Mississippi River.  But instead of enjoying the city views and colors of fall we were avoiding the rain, wind and snow showers.
We sure didn't let the weather ruin a great, great party.

Saint Paul MN - October 12 SNOW

We woke up to a dusting and on again/off again flurries all day.
Nasty windy day.
The bright spot was that a few hundred miles northwest they got 28 inches.  Dodged that bullet.

Also, one of our old biking mates was hosing the party so stopped by on the way to the Saint Paul Art Crawl.

Minneapolis MN - Twin Cities Start Up Week begins

Twin Cities Start Up Week kicked off tonight at the Target Employee Center along the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
Got there a bit early from another event and then the crowd started wandering in.
Great space, great kick off and great to show off all the amazing things emerging from the Minnesota.

Had our quarterly meeting and another day of learning about so many things going on in Saint Paul MN - the quiet city it seems.
A great group - lots of great people doing lots of great things.  Lucky to get to participate.
