Milwaukee WI - Lizzie Nursing Commitment Event

After a great evening out, we gathered once again at the Church of the Gesu to celebrate Lizzie's commitment to the nursing profession - as they say here to be a "Marquette Nurse".  They are different I have now been told.

Milwaukee WI - Grandma does Milwaukee

Lizzie had an event so Grandma and I made the trip.
I was off to the airport at 6 to drop off Margie/Jimbo and it was raining and it rained and rained all the way to Milwaukee.
We don't need more water and we sure didn't need it all the way on our trip - but we made it and then the fun began.
Neil's great friend Coakley hosted us to dinner at the Wisconsin Club just across the road from Lizzie's dorm - but a completely different experience.
Great first day.

Minneapolis MN - Baseball playoffs begin

The Twins invited their fans to the stadium to view the first game of the playoffs.
And the Twins sure did it right.  They opened up the " Delta Skyroom" for anyone who wanted to come - free tickets for all.
Turned out to be a very cool night so you could be inside or out - and if you hung inside there was a world of Twins memorabilia to enjoy.  And lots of great food as well.
As we have always experienced, the Twins are a class act.

Saint Paul MN - Sunday partying with the Klaudas

Chris was in town so a gathering was had.
We tried to hang outside but ongoing showers brought us back to the kitchen for the evening.

Minneapolis MN - Milwaukee Railroad Depot

Another evening, another event.  Or so it was this week.
Great night at the old Milwaukee RR Depot - great spot for a party.

Mahtomedi MN - A regular gathering, a perfect night

We have a long history of getting together.  The players have changed a bit over time but this current group have been regulars for quite some time.
We hit the calendar right and got a perfect evening to enjoy Jim's outside areas before we headed in to the porch for dinner.
Quite a menu put together by Jim - when it starts with lobster tail wrapped in bacon you know it is going to be a great night......
Always lots of conversation.  And we all still go home friends - as it should be.
