Saint Paul MN - The new guy - Cheikh joins the team

It is September so time for a new Mac Student to join the Team and add some new life to the new term ahead.
Cheikh has joined our gang.  He is from Senegal.  Finished up his high school years in Singapore - so  lots of notes to compare about that spot on the map.
Had a great night - with lots of help from everyone to make it all happen.

Minneapolis MN - The Saturday Bike Ride

Solo Saturday this week - everyone else had a better offer.

Saint Paul MN - Red Bull Flugtag Day on the Mississippi

Got a cool, grey day for the Flugtag.
Still gathered a crowd on both sides of the river to take in the experience.
Didn't see much air time during the time I took it all in.  But amazed at the number of people set up and camped out to take each and every "flight" in.

Saint Paul MN - Labor Day Weekend BBQ

Had a full table tonight for the annual Labor Day Weekend BBQ - usually on Sunday night.
Got in a good bike ride today - with a free shower and bike wash for the last 5 miles - an unexpected storm.
Lots of good conversation all over today and a great bbq to finish the evening including rootbeer floats!

Saint Paul MN - State Fair Day

This year I made it to The Fair with Margie, Maura and Bill.
A good group to hang out for the day - involved plenty of walking, looking, eating and drinking - even got in the big slide on the 50th Anniversary.
Perfect weather - don't ever recall that.

Saint Paul MN - Saint Paul Saints Night

Got invited to enjoy the last home game of the season at the Saints game.  And they won.
One of our work teams from the office organized the evening and after an afternoon of lots of water it was a perfect evening to wander, roam and enjoy CHS Stadium.

Rosemount MN - Sri Lankan Dinner Night

We finally made it to House of Curry - the only Sri Lankan restaurant we are aware of in the Twin Cities.
One very happy Niketh.  And there were plenty of smiles from the rest of us as well.

Twin Cities MN - Heading Home

The swap off.
Met Margie about half way and picked everyone up and then we were off to the airport with Neil and Chris and then on to Rochester with Grandma.
Was just starting my trip back to the Cities as Neil and Chris were taking off.

Stillwater MN - Neil and Christopher finishing up their week

Got a great night for a final bbq before everyone heads home tomorrow.

Great weather, no humidity - what more can you ask.
Of course why not bagpipes waifing throughout the neighborhood and finish it off with a full moon.
Summer at its best in Mac/Groveland.

Wow, couldn't have been a more lovely night to wander and enjoy all the action and noise of the city.
