New York, New York - A picture perfect Saturday

Comfortable and I don't ever remember it not feeling humid in NYC.
Tried to get a bike organized but it was not too be - and without a helmet maybe the best.

New York, New York - An Eastside wander

Staying on the Eastside this trip so got out for a wander along the Upper East side.
Beautiful day for NYC in August - light on the humidity.
Great day to be out.
Always find that no matter how often I wander around, I always discover something I have missed before or is a new addition since the last time I wandered by.
Shared a table over coffee in the AM and said hello and had a great chat.  Turns out he is a building inspector in the City and he shared photos and videos of some of the most interesting new interiors in many, many spots throughout Manhattan - what a great time.
Always good to say hello - never know what may come from that moment.

New York, New York - a long slog getting here

It all started with an initial delay heading out.
Then it went on.  Finally, we got in the plane and headed towards the runway.
We sat.
Then we had to go back and get more fuel to take the scenic route the East Coast.
Finally, we were off.
Then we got put in to the never ending circling that can often happen when you finally get in to the NYC Zone.
A whole evening shot in the 8 hour adventure - but finally on the ground.

West Concord and Fairbault, MN - brunch and the full monty

Got off early and picked up Greg in Zumbrota.
Then off to West Concord for brunch at Omar's Cafe - a regular spot for Greg and a well known figure there.
Over ate and then we were off to Fairbault to catch Bev in The Full Monty - last show of the run.
Great sunny day.  And even got to run in to a few of Bev's kids before we headed out.

Saint Paul MN - Bands on the Boulevard at History Center

A perfect weather week.
Finally, got out to one of the Tuesday night concerts at the History Center.
Moved the location a bit to accommodate summer repair work being done but still a great spot to hang out on a summer night - and hear the sounds of Nooky Jones.
