Chicago IL - The snow arrived

A full morning of snow - but the ground is still warm enough here that it all just melted.  And then as you would expect the wind came up and it became a very unlikeable day outside.
Lots of Christmas everywhere to enjoy.

Chicago IL - From snow to rain

Snowy, windy Sunday in Saint Paul.  Rainy, windy Sunday in Chicago - they just missed the snow and it was 45.
Cooled down in the evening with snow projected for the AM.
Despite rain over snow, Christmas is happening here.

Saint Paul MN - Bev turns 70 - oh my!

A snowy night for a 70th celebration.  Still gathered a respectable crowd.
Lots of good laughs, tears and stories to help Bev celebrate her 70th year.

Saint Paul MN - Saturday walk in the snow

Chose a new starting location for a Saturday wander and were right in the middle of the Christmas Market - reindeer rides included.
Cool and windy - the lull before what was a messy storm that followed later in the day.

Minneapolis MN - Open Book night

Got to hang at the Open Book at a Minnesota Center for Book Arts Event - learned a few things as well.
Worked in the Open Book Building for 12 months about 8 years ago.
Even ran in to friend from way back at the boy scout camp days - great night.

Saint Paul MN - Post Thanksgiving Lasagna with the Mac Team

Another "cold turkey sandwich party" in the books now turned in to a lasagna night.  And as usual another loud, hungry group.
Lots of family from all over - including the East Coast this year.
And MLD had the hit appetizer treat of the evening.  And Greg failed at his acrobatic routine and spent the evening on his sofa at home.
