New York City NY - Eddie DeMarkey does NYC

Eddie and I trained in for a day of wandering the City.
We hit Times Square and then headed down to the bottom and the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial Area before we trekked off to Brooklyn to less than hyped neighborhood celebration.
Back to 14th street and then off we wandered back to the train for CT.
They highlight may have been a acrobatic, hip hop routine in the middle of the subway train as we traveled under the water back to Manhattan.

Stamford CT - Lizzie Graduates

A cool and cloudy afternoon for Stamford High graduation.  An efficient ceremony for sure - less than 90 minutes.
Grandma and I made the trip to the East for the graduation and party.
A great dinner followed after Tommy and I arrived from our walk from one event to the next.

New York NY - Full on Saturday in the City

Full on weekend.  Not only Pro Volleyball but Big Apple BBQ, Puerto Rican Day Parade, Jazz festival and just all the other things that go on day to day on a weekend in NYC.
And I always enjoy getting up early in NYC and going for a walk along the streets - it is a bit like seeing "how the sausage is made".
The streets are generally quiet but then you come across all the street vendors moving their stand back in from who knows where.  And the horses come out and gradually make their way to Central Park.  And those that live on the street are starting to rise and seeing what the day may offer them.  It is always something that reminds you that you have to make lots of things happen in the few quiet hours there are each day to keep the big NYC moving.
