Twin Cities MN - A quick tour

Did a quick couple hour tour with Mom and Dad around Minneapolis and Saint Paul.  Expected rain but just had cool winds instead - made it all a whole lot easier.
And a great finish at Holman's Table at the Saint Paul airport with family.

Saint Paul MN - Qifan graduation celebrating begins

International Graduation event tonight.
Mom and Dad got in yesterday and the party is now on.
We even had the president of Mac drop by and say hello this year - first time I remember that happening.

Saint Paul MN - Looking back in Saint Paul

Wandered down to see photos from downtown Saint Paul in 1978 and hear from many of those that were there and through the years since.
Moved here in 1982 but was around on a regular basis when a friend settled in fall 1974.  So they all looked very familiar.
And got in to another court room in the Landmark Center - all unique and interesting.

Got word that there were extra tickets to the Kofi event at Mac - wandered on up.
Interesting to hear about coming to the USA and Minnesota in 1959 and his perspective of the world since.

Minneapolis MN - Biking Sunday

Another perfect day so got out along the Mississippi.
Lots of pent up winter energy so there were people out everywhere - and still remembering their walking and biking etiquette.
Great to see everything finally starting to green up.

Saint Paul MN - The group bike season begins

The bike group had its first ride of the season.  A great day - sunny and warm - got up over 80F before we got some rain late in the day.
And we finished off with a blue donut and some concoction including pickles and bacon!

Saint Paul MN - Finals time at Mac

End of the school year and finals and summer plans all getting organized.
Found a time to gather most - Niketh had a better offer - more than likely a study group or exam.
Sue was able to join us for the evening and was holding court as dinner got ready to go.
Another great evening.

Twin Cities MN - Spring continues

Great weekend - 2 wonderful days and even nicer on Monday.
First 80+ day since last September.
Got a couple walks in, bike ride and even a party with the bike group to kick off the season - first group ride coming up Saturday.
Construction moving right along with the new theater complex at Mac.  And you know it is spring when the frisbees come back out.

New York NY - Part 2
