Dinner with the Northern Beaches Gang.  Gathered a good group and had a great, great evening.

Sydney Australia - Long wander along the harbour

Took some time to wander around the old established part of Central Sydney - even it evolves and changes every tie I am here.
A few old haunts and some new streets to wander through as well.
Perfect weather week so far.

Sydney Australia - back again

Jan dropped me at the train - had a lovely view as I waited and a room with a view when I got to the City.

Took a ride to pick up some wine and oil at the warehouse at the other vineyard.
Even got a shot to add to the Facebook/Instagram account for the day - 3 old dogs was the working title.....

Perfect weather weekend for me but way too dry and a great need for rain.
As always a full menu of surprises - venison, prawns, lamb and even kippers for breakfast....and most of the veggies and fruit right from the garden and the eggs from the neighbors next door.
And of course plenty of amazing different varieties of wine.
After AFL football on Friday and Saturday we had NRL football final on Sunday night.  Got all the championships done!
And then there was the rooster......definitely an early riser and a non-stop noise maker once he is up.

Melbourne Australia - Friday Night on the Town

Met up with local friends and enjoyed two great spots on a very busy Friday night in Melbourne.  Long weekend plus footie fans in their scarves and hats everywhere.
Started out at the old "shot tower" built in the center of a mall - and finally got the history and why it existed.  Quite interesting.  The process of making ammunition round....
We stopped at a place called Berlin that you have to wait at a door, much like the "wall" in its day, to get in.  Once in you get seated in either the East or the West - and the decor is appropriate to each.  Lots of fun - great concept.
And then dinner at an Asian Fusion spot - Gingerboy.  A great mix of Asian tastes. .
