Tokyo Japan - Magnificent Dinner

A few years back I got the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful restaurant nestled below the Tokyo Tower.  Definitely a memorable evening.
Never thought I would go again - but it happened again this week.  The visuals are almost more amazing than the taste of the food.
Once again, a memorable event.

Tokyo Japan - Around the Office

Took a break between meetings and checked out another direction around the office.
Ice Cream shop just around the corner - good thing I am not here everyday.
Beautiful weather week.

Tokyo Japan - 82F and sunny

Got the week started with a great sunny almost hot day - 82F.
Also, ended the day at our usual spot with one of our partner teams for a few good laughs and stories.

Tokyo Japan - flying in at the end of a holiday week

Golden Week last week in Japan - a few holidays but most take the week off.
I arrived and it appeared I had beat the rush back to the city - until the train arrived and it was full of people from the domestic terminal - oh well.

Saint Paul MN - BOOM a better than perfect day

The sun came out and it became an almost perfect Friday - wow 77F.
Great finish to the week and I was able to catch a ride before the sun set and I headed off to Japan in the morning.
And of course, everyone was out enjoying it as I biked along the river, through a few campuses and along the stone arch bridge in downtown Minneapolis.
The water was powerful and violent as it came over the falls - much higher than usual for sure.

Saint Paul MN - Finals Week Dinner Break

Found a time that worked for all of us for a finals week dinner break.
It sounds like the next few days will be brutal - stretches all the way to Saturday evening to get it done.
Some fancy Mexican and Pajarito and then ice cream at the Grand Olde Creamery before we went back to the studies.
Next week Nam is off to Vietnam and Qifan is taking a quick trip to San Fran.  Then back to work the summer in Minnesota.
Expect Kristijan back to join us in the fall.

Lots of conversation and stories - good time had by all on a cold rainy day.

Toronto Ontario Canada - Dropping back in

Opportunity came up for another visit to Toronto.  Lovely spot - always great to make the trek.

Saint Paul MN - bike, party, party, party weekend

Beautiful weekend so I got two bike rides in.
Also, stopped by and crashed Katy's Bridal shower and finished off Saturday evening at a 130th Birthday Party - a duo party.  And just around the block from me.

Stillwater MN - Sunny Easter Day

The sun came out by Saturday afternoon and it provided a very nice sunny weekend.
Gathered a reasonable crowd for a fun Easter afternoon - all taking our turns in the sun on the deck and watching the local muskrat population swim around in front of us.
Clemens in from Montreal was also able to join the festivities one more time.
