Seoul South Korea - a few extra minutes

The sun came out as we drove through the mountains to our meeting this morning.  Beautiful drive - a bit of snow scattered on the tops.
And we got back with a bit of time to wander the neighborhood a bit before I hopped on the bus for the trek back to Tokyo.
Big place.  Had never really thought about how big Seoul is - 16th largest in the world.

Seoul South Korea - First time out of the airport

I have flown through Seoul several times over the years to get somewhere else.  This time I finally worked my way through the airport and came to the heart of the city.
Interesting "jello dessert" type of thing in the plane that you suck out of a tube as a new experience as well.
Holiday when I arrived but you sure wouldn't know it by the traffic on the roads - wow.
Cold and rainy and it was dark when I arrived.  And off to my meetings first thing and it appears another gloomy day so don't expect I will see much this trip.

Tokyo Japan - Spring is in the air here

Another month and another trip to Japan.  I went from 15F to 60F so it wasn't all bad.
Still some winter in the warmer air but you can sense that spring is getting close in this part of the world.
Always have a few shakes when  you are in Tokyo but this trip got one that had a few things in the room rattling for a bit.

Saint Paul MN - Recording setting weather everyday

It started on Friday with a record warm day, continued in to Saturday and then Sunday.  And expect we will hit a few more before we get another set of snow and cold - it is only February in MN.
Hit the patio after work on Friday, spent some time walking and then hit a 60th birthday party with family and got out the bike, filled the tires with air and got my first 15 miles in on February 19.
Not bad at all.

Saint Paul MN - The Lex is open again

Got invited along to enjoy dinner at the newly reopened Lexington in Saint Paul.
Great laughs, stories and fine food.  Great to see that it was a busy night and new life brought back to a beautiful spot.
