Seattle WA - Finally, in the city not just sitting at the airport for hours and hours

Work trip to Seattle.  I have been through Seattle way too many times once Delta shifted the HK flight from Narita to Seattle.  Know the airport well.
Back in the city again.  It has been way too long.  So far lovely sunny days.
Started out my trip with dinner overlooking Lake Washington with a local friend - what could be better!

Saint Paul and Rochester MN - life changes

Started the weekend burying an old dear friend.
And then headed down to Rochester to check on Evie after her third knee replacement - long road ahead but moving forward.  Got out for a walk on a very very nice Sunday.

Saint Paul MN - Nam joins the team

Cool and sunny morning so Carly, Grant and I got in a good ride.
And later in the day I met up with Nam our new Mac friend from Hanoi Vietnam.  Took our usual tour and then Qifan, Kristijan and Patty joined us for dinner.  Should be great fun for the next 4 years.

Minneapolis MN - Labor Day Dinner Adventure

Mary was in town so we needed another dinner adventure.
This time we headed to Upton 43.  A Scandinavian Menu with a very modern twist - think fermented lettuce for starters.

We got a lovely Sunday for a Labor Day Weekend gathering.  We got our first pass of rain about 30 minutes after the dishwasher was running the the feet were up enjoying the balance of the evening.

Saint Paul MN - State Fair Time

I couldn't even guess the last time I was at the MN State Fair.
An easy ride up Snelling for me on the bus - so I meet up with Margie, Maura and Jenny for the day.  And we got perfect weather for our day.
Got started before the big crowds arrived - and got out as the sun baked away the afternoon and the streets just got fuller and fuller.
