Tokyo Japan - Spring has arrived in Tokyo

I hit the best weather week of spring in Tokyo.  Everyone kept telling me this was the first good spring weather week.
Lots happening while in town - and got it done early enough to catch a flight home a day early.   Nice to get back to MSP.

We finally got another above normal Saturday and so we hit the trails once again.
By late afternoon it got all the way up to 80F.
We seemed to get one nice day and then 10 cold and wintery days.  It would have been almost easier to just stay cold and not get teased.

Saint Paul MN - Annual birthday dinner finally gets on the calendar

For a long, long time Jim, Mike and I got together for a birthday dinner.  We are all the same age and our birthdays fall in within 30 days of each other - I get to be the youngest......
Over the years it went through some other gyrations, additions and changes.
We seemed to have settled in to a core group that gathers for our birthday and a couple other times throughout the year.  The Salon Group as Bev calls it - our budding actress and model.
Another great night and another birthday on the books - and the last celebration finally executed and done.

A bit grey and cool but a really great day for late March.
We gathered a good crowd and after lots of great food we had too many desserts - but we had some of all of them!!!

Another year, another great dinner party.
Flora always does it big - and always enjoyed by all.
A rainy night but sure beat all of the icy and snowy ones we had over the years.

Tomos was in from HK for the JumpStart.
So we all met up and had some fun in Shinjuku after a full day for all.

Tokyo Japan - A Ninja Dinner

Have had the opportunity to go to several great spots to eat.  This trip we headed out for a Ninja experience - lots of fun and the food was both beautiful and delicious.  Had several items with bamboo coal as an ingredient to create a dark, rich black coloring.
Also caught some spring moments and had a meeting with quite the view as well today.
