Tokyo Japan - Sunny and 70s no complaints here

A great week to be in Tokyo - 70s by day and comfortable cool by night.  Mostly sunny - or at least sunny enough.
This trip I am staying at a hotel that I met Neil at on my first trip to Tokyo - been updated since then but the bar overlooking the lobby is still there and I remember getting there and waiting to be picked up.

Tokyo Japan - Hopping back to the other side

I know I have been traveling too much when a 12 hour non-stop flight doesn't seem so bad.  Usually to get to spots in Asia there is a layover and it always gets to 20 hours or more.
But not when you head to Tokyo.  And a lovely 72 F when I hit the ground.

Twin Cities, Minnesota - An International Celebration

Two busy weeks back in Minnesota.
Bike rides, bonfires, bbq's and even some record heat on the weekend.
Lots of work meetings as well as our annual user event.  And this year even more people come from around the world - so it was a full weekend getting together with old friends from Europe and then welcoming Australian and Asian friends when they arrived in Minnesota.
Hardly time to notice that I was back for two weeks.

Hong Kong - Boat trip before I head to Minnesota

Finished up the quarter and ended the evening with a boat trip around Hong Kong and a spectacular seafood dinner on Lamma.
Great way to finish up my time with the Hong Kong Team.  Lovely night and we finished off taking in the nightly light show as we came back in to Central Harbour.
Will miss this crazy city and the APAC Team.

Singapore - A Sunday full of the fiery haze

The haze was back filling the skies first thing in the morning and got thicker and thicker as the day went on.  Will be a very grey and smoggy sunset tonight.
Schools and certain businesses have closed or slowed things down due to the high levels of bad air with the burning going on in the fields of Indonesia and Malaysia.  And the streets are rather quiet as well for a Sunday afternoon.
