Hong Kong - Sunday, Sunny, Super Smog Alert and finally the rain cleaned it all up

Beautiful sunny Sunday in HK.
And to add to the heat and humidity we also had the smog settle in for its worst day this year.
I got off to check out another Temple in Kowloon in the late morning.
Always amazing what you find tucked in between the city, highways and towers in HK.
Back to HK Island for a rooftop bbq and we just watched the smog get thicker and thicker.
We headed further up the side of the hill just as the rain struck and cleansed off a day of sweat and grim before I made it to the apartment.

Singapore - Quick stop on the way to HK

Back again for one more evening before heading back to HK.

Jakarta Indonesia - Slow moving chaos

This is my first trip back to Jakarta since 2008.  It has only gotten crazier.
One big monster city full of cars and motorcycles.  The most memorable thing every time I am here is all of the vehicles on the road - and the slow pace that things move.
You add in the head, humidity and all the other activities going on everywhere you look and it can make for a very exhausting day.  Every day.
And every so often a small pocket of calm.
It was a quick trip but got what needed to be done, done and then back to Singapore to head back to Hong Kong.
It has been about three weeks on the road in three continents and other islands.

Singapore - Always hot and humid and mostly sunny

No surprises when you get to Singapore - hot, humid and mostly sunny.  And most often the rains just pass through and the sun comes back out.
Some time to catch up with friends over the weekend so a great trip so far.
