Hong Kong - Lots of Christmas here and the usual wonders of HK

It has been interesting to see the approaches to Christmas decorations and displays as I jumped from country to country on this trip.
They all support a certain amount of "western" style decor and traditions - and then you have those unique moments that make it all their own.  So many interesting interpretations - who knew squirrels and rabbits were so much a part of the Christmas experience.....

Singapore, like so many cities, gets taller and taller.  Lots of towers and massive structures all over the place.  And then you walk around the corner and there is something from British Colonial times or before.  And also the great diversity that makes Singapore what it is has a way to be both together and apart.

Singapore - Hot, humid and rainy...I guess hotter if the sun came out

It has been very grey this trip to Singapore.  And huge rains several times a day.  I guess it would only be hotter if the sun came out.   Enjoying 80F to 90F plus each day.
But with 18 inches of snow at home it is hard to complain about sweating up a storm every time I go out the door.
