Stamford CT - The big parade

It has been many many years since our trip out East and spent the weekend before Thanksgiving in Stamford.  The last time we were here I think it was Tommy that I was walking around downtown Stamford in a stroller before the parade.  This year I took Betty and Lucille for a quick spin throughout the downtown area before the parade began.
It is quite fun to see all of the Macy Parade balloons up close and personal - you could almost touch them from where we stand.  And we had a perfect November day.  Sunny and 50ish.

Zandaam and Amsterdam Netherlands - Trains, Trams, Metro and Ferries

I headed in several directions from Amsterdam Central this trip.
I came in from Germany via the train.  I used the trams and metro for meetings in the center and south.  And even caught the ferry to head towards the old shipyard building area for a meeting.
Most in Amsterdam bike - or walk.  I mostly walk and try to avoid getting struck by all the bikers.
Mostly a grey and gloomy time in Amsterdam - but comfortable.
