Little Silver NJ a bit of a wander

Fabulous November day - sunny and warm enough to be out without a jacket.

Anna does Newark and Little Silver NJ...I get there via NYC

Started the morning with a ferry trip in to the City for a fix up project on the Upper West Side.  Mission accomplished and some time to spare before heading to Newark for Disney on Ice - Toy Story 3.
Grace and her car full made an adventure of getting to the arena taking in many of the more interesting sights available in central Newark - one of those lock the doors kind of ride!
We finished the day with our first Thanksgiving Feast at Neil, Grace and Christopher's home.  As you would expect way too much delicious food.

Anna does Long Branch NJ

An uneventful flight.  We were actually 45 minutes early at Newark - a rarity for sure.
Let the party start with dinner at Ed and Lara's.  Simon was in from the UK as well.

Anna - East Coast anticipation

Off to the East for the Thanksgiving Week.  And once again Anna is going to join us for the trip.

Saint Paul - Margie and Joe celebrate their birthdays

Oops - Joe had to celebrate with the family.  It happens to all of us but Joe wasn't in the mood to celebrate with anyone.  Margie, always ready for a celebration and she recognized another year in great form.
We could have had the St Paul Vulcans, celebrating across the hall, make it a much bigger event but then Mac had already made a trip to be sick in the toilet so we didn't want to risk further casualties
Birthdays recognized.  Family all made it.  I got in on the action as well.  What more can you ask....

Saint Paul - Winter...it had to arrive

We have been living on the edge all month.  It was in the 60s F almost everyday this week - almost 70F.  We all knew but just didn't thing about when it came it would hit hard.  And by Saturday morning we had lots of wet, heavy snow everywhere.  It looks like we make get a meltdown but winter has arrived as it always does.
