Sydney/Manly NSW - Sunday fun day

Another sunny one and another trip back to Manly.
Traveling over with a USA friend on his first ferry ride to Manly and then we parted for awhile.
He enjoyed the sites and enjoyed a great lunch with some great friends of 25 years.
Then back on a night ride to the city.

Sydney Australia - The warm winter days show up

Finally, some sun and the nice winter days you usually see in Sydney.
I got out once again - and so did everyone else.  People everywhere enjoying the sun and the city.

Sydney NSW Australia - Another night in the City

Out and about picking up a few things before the trip home.
Got a walk across the bridge - one of my favorite walks in the City.
And then rendezvoused with some former work colleagues for another great night out and about in a few spot in central Sydney.
Opening night at a new spot in town - Double Deuce...but lots of familiar old faces from their other location.

Manly NSW - Happy Hour and the Ferry ride back to the City

Finished up my northern beaches trip with a stop in Manly for Happy Hour with Greg and Kay - been way too many years since we were all in the same place and able to meet up.
Just like we had been together the day before - and got to get a view of their newest house.  Been lucky to get to enjoy so many.
Lots of good conversation and always enjoy a night ride back in to the city.

Newport NSW - One last walk

Got the start of another nice day after our big night last night.
Took one last wander to pick up a paper and read it on the water at The Newport.
Quite the place this has become.  I remember when it was the neighborhood pub - way, way more expansive than from those days.

Newport NSW - Dinner, great wine and lots and lots of conversation

We have been working on the venison pie and sourdough bread for the past 2.5 days.
Finally, the gang arrived and the enjoyment began.
A full on night of food and wine - Richard got out some of his Grange from the 70s and we didn't enjoy one, we went for 2.  Along with so many other wonderful reds and whites.

Newport NSW - A boat ride up the Pittwater

Finally, a break in the clouds and rain and the nicest day since my arrival to Newport.
A spin to the mouth of Pittwater Bay and then back for lunch at the yacht club.
