Tokyo Japan - Checking out another hot spot

Full week.  Lots of visitors along with me this week.  So more meetings and events than on the usual monthly trip.  But all good fun and productive.

Tokyo Japan - The day after

We had mostly a sunny day as the back of all the storms kept spinning around.  The humidity level would come in and out as well.
Moving around with the humidity and random storms we had someone jump in front of the train and we had to refigure how to get about an hour out to our first meeting.  Always something.
As part of our train hunting we wandered by a temple dedicated to children.  A great place to stop as a new grand nephew joined the family the same day.

Tokyo Japan - Three typhoons

I got in to Tokyo before the three typhoons hit Japan.  One north, one south and the one in the middle came right through Tokyo.
Lots and lots of water.  Not a horrible storm but certainly a big one.  And the humidity was over the top.
It was a day where I felt like I was taking continuous showers in all my clothes.  The umbrella looked good but didn't bring much value to move from spot to spot.
All quiet by evening and life just went right back to normal.

Saint Paul MN - Dinner with old friends

Wow, not sure we figured out exactly the last time we got together but it was ages, and ages ago.  No doubt still had some color with my grey hair.
Good fun to reconnect and catch up.  Expect we will do it again one day.

South Saint Paul MN - and a bit beyond

Heard there were some bike paths I needed to explore for our Saturday morning rides.   Nice sunny Sunday so did some exploring.  Great to spend a nice sunny day along the Mississippi.

Minneapolis MN - Saturday ride North Minneapolis Route

After lots of humidity and big, big rains.  Rains like we would get in Asia.  We had a almost perfect Saturday.  Certainly a great day for a ride.
And how about coffee in Bryn Mawr before we headed back to our starting spot.
We even learned that there are many great bike routes to hop from micro-brewery to micro brewery.  Good thing we start early in the morning.

Saint Paul MN - Full on Family Weekend

Full on weekend of family and fun.
Friday night BBQ with Eileen and Neil's families in town - plus the bonus of Charlie Brown.
Saturday ride on the Minneapolis side and a gathering of many of my 45 Cashman Cousins.
Another ride on Sunday, the Urban Assault.  Always great fun, but for the puzzle stop this year.
And one more time with tacos on Monday at the lake.
Need to rest before the weekend ahead.
