Stillwater MN - Lindsay and family at the lake

Another Saturday, another day at the lake.
Lindsay and Craig came in from Western Minnesota so another party was had.  A bit less sunny but a great weekend none the less.

Stillwater MN - Mac guys join the party

Kristijan, Nam and Niketh joined the fun at the lake today.
After some issues getting the one boat to launch, we moved from tubing to water skiing - followed by tubing.
Neil was reigning king of skiing until the Sandor boys showed up to give everyone a lesson on how it is done.
And there was fishing and also those just taking in the sun.  Certainly something for everybody.

Stillwater MN - Boating and more boating

We started the day with a canoe trip down the St Croix - the worst day of Lizzie's lift to date according to her.
Actually, hazing from the fires in Canada so a beautiful day to be on the river - less sunburn for all of us.
And then back to the lake at Margie's.  Christopher had a vision of being pulled on the tube all day - or at least as long and as often as we would be willing....

The summer parties have now begun.
Neil and Christopher came in from the East.  Several of the Pfaff's came in to join the party as well.
A bit of rain to kick things off but expect many sunny days ahead.
More and more as the week goes on...

Prague, Czech Republic - A bit of a laugh

This was a very dark painting, sorry I couldn't get a better shot,  but made me laugh out loud.
I looked at the painting and my first impression was woman getting a bit drunk and oops her top has fallen down - a bit whimsical.  Expected a title of "young maiden drinking wine".
Then I read the description....first it was commissioned to be hung in a church...then it is Mary, BVM,  when the Angel arrives to tell her she is going to be pregnant without sex, have the son of god as a child and don't forget it is angel with wings delivering the news.
A bit of wine certainly would have been needed - or maybe better to wake up in the morning and think "I must have been drunk that certainly didn't happen last night".

Prague, Czech Republic - Random wander

It continues to be hot.  We have hit the mid-90s the last couple days - but the humidity level here is so much less than the rest of the trip.
We did get hit with a full on thunderstorm about rush hour time yesterday - it sure felt good walking in the rain and being cold and soaking wet.
Wandered through one of many art galleries yesterday.  Stopped by a couple more today as I did a random wander in some directions I hadn't explored so far.
