Sydney Australia - sun and warmth once again

Long flight but great to get off the plane and have sun, warmth and even humidity.

Stillwater MN - more birthday moments. Thanks to Mary and Clemens

Stillwater MN - the storm slowed down a few but we still filled the house and celebrated one more birthday for Long and me

The storm arrived and everything stopped or slowed down - and the after effects and the clean up was slow.
The morning began with who is in and who is out - can I ride with you - know who is going that way.   And then the sun came out, the shuttle started moving, the trucks scrapped things a bit more and the Mac guys arrived to shoot and the party was off and running.
The rest of us worked our way to Stillwater throughout the day, and some just completely spaced it all out - oops Carly, and then the party got started and the weather was conversation but otherwise forgotten.
Calls to Serbia and special songs and serenading filled the evening.  
Always something new and always something memorable.

Saint Paul MN - another week of winter

A week in Saint Paul and I got a nice melt, 2 storms and more than enough to have me ready to head back to AsiaPacific and all the weather surprises we have on that side of the world.
Quite a big finish to the end of the week - 10 inches of snow after lots of rain, slush and an ice pack stuck to the roads throughout the metro.

Saint Paul MN - Mac Potluck - year 11 and as great as ever

We all gathered again to get ready to our multiple dishes for the Macalester Potluck.
This year we went with a well rounded offering - appetizer, main and dessert - from Vietnam, Serbia and Germany.
And once again, there was nothing left.......there is not amount of food that can be brought to this to ensure leftovers is my belief.  Whatever is there will be consumed.
It has taken us 4 years but I think Petar has gotten Serbian Beans to almost like "moms".
